The 21st Century Teacher is a learner. The 21st century teacher must be willing to go beyond their comfort zonelearn new technologies to be able to teach their students how to use the technology.

I believe in the future of our children and in order to get them to their future we need to adapt and comply to their ways of communication, thinking and goals so we can be the models for them to follow rather than allowing them to follow the wrong type of influences.

Teachers are the master adapters! You never know when there will be a fire drill, extended tests, bomb threats, late lunches etc that will change the amount of time you have your students. Having a pocketfull of activities, especially those that you can use on laptops like webquests & practice tests is a lifesaver!!!!

The 21st century teacher must be a visionary. Many other teachers cannot/will not envision what the 21st century learner needs. Teachers needs to be familiar with the technology in order to "take it to the next level" by integrating it into their curriculum. Being a visionary requires a teacher to find innovative ways to provide meaningful instruction.
